Christian women often experience a crisis of faith, loss of their faith community and financial instability after and/or during a divorce. The topic of divorce is still very taboo in the church. Knowing the signs of domestic abuse is not widely taught in seminaries and pastors often are ill equipped to recognize it even when it is right in front of them. Because of this lack of training, Christian women, like you, often are advised to stay in abusive marriages far too long. Hoping that if they just submit more, serve him better, support his ego and encourage him more things will get better. Instead they often get worse.
If this sounds like you, I am here to help! I've been right where you are and clawed my way through the valley to the other side. Jesus never left me! He's been doing miracle after miracle and has given me a "hope and a future!" He is always faithful!
Helping others has always been my greatest joy! I created Life after Chaos Coaching to help women like you who find themselves in the place of rebuilding life after abuse and divorce. Working with people in a coaching relationship has been a spiritual awakening after experiencing for myself the effects of divorce, including: homelessness, health crisis, anger and eating issues, single parenting, custody issues and remarriage. Amid the mess there were miracles and there was a seed planted in those dark places that has bloomed into a life I am delighted to now share with you!

I am trained in Life Coaching from Light University and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, a graduate of the BLAST Mentoring Program (Building Leaders Authors Speakers & Teachers) with NY Times Million Copy Best-Selling author Shannon Ethridge, a speaker to women's groups and a facilitator of sex-trafficking education for middle school student, as well as a Certified victim advocate with Abuse Recovery Ministry and Services.
As a passionate, Christ-centered woman with 20 years of experience working with people in ministry, I am committed to seeing women like you set free from the chaos of the past to rebuild lives of peace, joy and freedom that you were meant for!
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Being a B.L.A.S.T. graduate has become an identity for me. Walking in step with Shannon Ethridge, M.A. for a full year as she took me through her unique program fashioned on the concept of building a home really set into motion dreams and possibilities I could have never dreamt of! Shannon and the cohort I studied with help me overcome limiting beliefs I didn't realize were holding me back and also shined bright lights on strengths I possess that others see clearly but I had always thought of as weakness. As a speaker, leader, writer and post-divorce life coach, this program set a firm foundation for the purposes God intends to build with my life!

I am a certified Her Journey leader with Abuse Recovery Ministry and Services a faith-based organization out of Beaverton, Oregon. Working with abused women to help them gain strength to understand the dynamics of abuse and the options they have to deal with it, and that God is with them and they are deeply loved by him.
I chose to take the '94-'95 school year off and attend an amazing year at MWSB. This year of new adventure in the wilderness, away from home out in the majestic Rocky Mountains was the validation I needed to set out on my life and career in ministry. I had the great privilege of have such giants as Brennan Manning ( the original "Ragamuffin") as my instructor during the course of the year. With only 40 students this experience was very intimate and impacting! My faith and knowledge of the Bible grew and deepened because of my time at MWSB.
I earned a Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation from WWU. My goal is to integrate this education with life coach work and my heart for helping women post-divorce heal and create recreation-infused healing retreats for women. This is a future goal and God will open the doors for this in time.
